What is your morning routine before setting off for work?
At the moment it revolves around getting my Daughter to her University each day until she passes her driving test.
What was your background before joining Hayes & Finch
After serving my time as a Mechanic, I joined BAT Ltd as a Machine Fitter. After being made redundant, I ran a couple of Pubs for 3-4 yrs and then a Class 1 HGV Driver before joining Hayes & Finch Despatch Department in June 1998.
What is a typical day at Hayes & Finch like for you?
There is no such thing as a typical day, each day is different as we face many different challenges to ensure we get our orders to our customers on time. We have a 99% success rate of doing this but we are always striving for the magic 100%.
What is your favourite part about working with the Commercial Team?
Again the different challenges that pop up each day.
How do you spend your free time outside of the office?
I am one half of a Guitar Duo playing the pubs around Liverpool.
What things cheer you or make you happy?
At home with the family and doing a good gig and bringing the house down.
